[Avid-L2] Re: Avid Symphony Colour Correction feature requests

 

You can change the source side relationship of a clip after correction. For example I often work this way:

Apply source side correction by source clip name. That puts that correction on every clip in the timeline that has the same source name (while ignoring anything from a (.) on, so the ".new.01" that gets added with decomposing or consolidating doesn't affect the clip name)

Then as I'm moving through the timeline, if I see a clip that still needs further adjusting, I change the source side relationship to either "Master Clip" or "Segment mode" and further refine. If I select "Master Clip, it will affect every instance in the timeline that is from the same master clip. So a consolidated clip of "JoeBlow.new.02" would be affected everywhere it showed up in the timeline. "Segment" mode would break any relationships and only affect the exact shot I am on.
