Thanks Jim! I'm downloading it now.
I guess I can't update Safari anymore with this OS. I would update this OS, but then I would have to reinstall FCP to get it to work properly. Ouch! All this for YouTube?

Subject: Re: [Avid-L2] OT: Both Safari and Firefox have stopped playing YouTube audio
I have a similar problem with YouTube sometimes... esp on 10.6.8 and Safari
5.1.7. Firefox is going kinda crazy with updates these days. On 10.6.8, Google's
Chrome browser seems to work pretty reliably with YouTube.
Don't know if that'll solve your problem. But Chrome's not so bad anyway...

Safari 5.1.7, Firefox 15.0.1. Video seems to play fine, but there is no audio
playback at all. System audio itself seems fine. System sounds and iTunes have
no problem, and I can stream Netflix with normal sound playback. I haven't tried
any other internet video, such as Vimeo, so no idea if the problem extends to
that.
