Or just tell them that failing to logout leaves their workspaces and ID open to someone intentionally or accidentally deleting all their hard work. That would have done it for me if we had computers and servers when I was in college. We did have an IBM selectric terminal with a 300 baud acoustic fouler for a terminal connection. Boy were we excited when we got a hazeltine green on black video terminal! Now we could play trek without wasting boxes of greenbar! But that's a whole other sttory!
