No -- there's no 'v' anywhere in the script, or any other command that
could cause a splice/overwrite in the timeline.
I can see the problem happening as I step through in debugging mode,
which manually goes one command at a time -- so delays are clearly not
the issue. The 'q' from Quickkeys is triggering the insert. Appreciate
the suggestion, though.
