I jump in:
As I recall, DigiBeta video adjustments are digital and therefore
affect the digital as well as the analog outputs. If adjustments are
made to the video while monitoring the analog output, the digital
'clone' will be affected as well. This is confirmed by Oliver's
instructions to the dub technician.
