I had a customer who ran Facilis and Unity on dual fiber cards with some
success. The challenge will be which driver to use. Separate cards might
work better - if you have the slots.

Subject: [Avid-L2] Dual Channel Fibre Card with Unity?
Okay so our sluggish unity problem over ethernet is going to be addressed by
a bigger Unity running fibre to the bays. Not sure how a lot of the fibre
cards will play with unity but I think they are going to upgrade those too.
My concern is a drive chassis I have dedicated to online on our SanMP
network will no longer be accessible to me if my fibre is put on the unity.
I've been told by one tech that unity doesn't play nice with other systems
so a dual channel fibre card would not allow me to hook up to unity on one
spigot and my fibre online chassis on the other. Like local storage. Or is
there a way I could run SanMP on one port of the fibre card and unity on the
other? The other option is the online drive chassis has and Ext. SAS
connection so I guess we could put a SAS card in the Mac Pro and run the
chassis that way. Right now there is a celerity 41 fibre card and the Avid
Nitris DX host bus adapter card. That should leave room for
an SAS card, right? Oh we've got so much help we'll never get done.
