[Avid-L2] Avid DVD

 

Using MC 6, and trying to install Avid DVD 6.4.4. It will install correctly
(so the key is right) but it refuses to activate, giving the error that the
activation code is incorrect, even though it is the same one that worked on
install. Sonic's web site is a joke regarding support, but I found a
suggested fix on the Avid KB. Tried it, and it did not work. The KB
supplied a phone number for sonic, but it is disconnected.

I am at a dead end. Has anyone else had this problem? (I am using a
dongle, so could it have not been blasted properly on my upgrade to MC6,
even though it shows up in dongle manager?)
