I would look into the Boris issue before upgrading. When I upgraded to MC 6 since it's 64bit, I lost Boris and had to purchase the full version not the upgrade separately. Luckily it was on sale at the time. If you're getting a new license instead of upgrading then Boris should be part of the MC6 package. Some AVID resellers are still honoring the Symphony upgrade for $995 which includes Boris. With the AVID upgrade and Boris, you're looking at paying about $1500. Video Guys is still honoring the cross grade at $995 and it's the boxed version not the download. Hope this helps.
