[Avid-L2] Re: Inexpensive Y/C Frame Synchronizer or TBC ?

 

Yeah, I saw both of those on eBay.

I was wondering about those Datavideo units -- as I never used that brand back-in-the-day. Are using the DPS-220 or DPS-265 -- or possibly another model?

Also, do you know anything about the usability of Hotronics AR31 -- which I have found on both eBay and the Hotronics website (which looks like it hasn't been updated since 1995).

While a bit more expensive on eBay, the AR31 is a better form-factor for me (smaller), has a ref input and a full frame of memory -- but I can't seem to find any specs on the AR41 to know how the AR31 might be handicapped for this particular application.
