[Avid-L2] Importing settings for ex clips

 

First time dealing with EX clips in my new symphony 6 avid setup. I have both original clips in the sony BPAV folder & some that where already wrapped into a .mov file for use in a FCP setup. 1080i(60) & 720p(60). I've set my project up as a 1080 project. Once I mount the clips in AMA, should I transcode all clips to DNxHD 145? I assume that is all I need for the EX 35 Mb clips. I'm guessing the DNxHD 220 & 220x would be over kill. Or should i just use the AMA.
I've also set the media creation setting all tabs to DNx145 and mix down & render to Half Debayer. However, in the capture tab in media creation I have only the choice of DVCPro HD MXF & HDV 1080i MXF. I'm guessing I should choose HDV 1080i MXF. Correct? Or does this even effect me with the digital files injested already?
