Ian I'll save you a step:
From the timeline hit Opt/Alt + Find Bin.

All thoughts presented so far are reasonable (albeit a bit more work than I'd like - e.g. using the Attic).

Regarding Ian's workflow:
Unfortunately, I may not have edited a clip into my Sequence from the bin I accidentally closed, or I may have no idea which clip that's in the Sequence came from that particular bin.

I still think that a "Recently Opened Bins" submenu in the File menu would be useful on occasion. I have to imagine that implementing something like that in the code would not be overly difficult.
