I think all of this shows that it's very tough to survive based on a model that is geared towards a niche of professional users. Adobe's video division is backed by a company that gets income from plenty of other areas. Autodesk is likewise bankrolled by the CAD world. Only Quantel and GV are solely focused on our business and over the years, they've done a lot of organizational restructuring to rescale a company around that level of income. From our POV, Apple is really the most reliable of the bunch. Sobering? Huh?
