Hmmm...I wonder if this is a dot version thing? Definitely not happening that way on the system I've been working on.

I have had the same experience as Dennis. Once I set a font size, it holds that
size whenever I create a new bin. But I also get a lot of projects that have
been set up by AEs with younger stronger eyes than mine and contain dozens, if
not hundreds of bins with tiny little letters in them. (Too many bins is
another pet peeve of mine, but that's another thread.) I long ago mapped the
"change font" command to my keyboard (shift F) and don't worry about it anymore.

that project, you had an option to set the font size then, and that font size
would be the default for all future bin creations. I believe that's still true,
