RE: [Avid-L2] Re: Can an Adrenaline 5.x read an old Avid DS project?

Hi,

Nope, nothing's changed there. Only way back would be via EDLs, or a
flattened single MXF via the "Send to MC" command.

One word of warning... DO NOT use the Training version of DS on any 'real'
project. You MUST use a licensed version (either a temp 30 day, or a full
license, doesn't matter) if you want to avoid trashing the project. The
training version will corrupt everything about your 'real' project,
preventing it from ever being loaded again into a licensed DS.

Cheers,
Tony

Is there still a free version of DS (training or assist or whatever it was)?

But yes, I've never tried to take a project from DS to Media Composer, only
the other way.
