Customization is important and useful.
Bringing back all the customizations available to the UI in v4 and prior would
be very welcome (and additional customization abilities even more welcome).
It makes a difference . . . it really does.
I know I kvetch about it all the time, but I have to imagine that I'm not the
only one.
Here's an example I could have used to make my work day a lot easier just
yesterday: Making the Filler a different color.
I could do that in the past . . .
And Individual control over I/O color, button highlight color, project window
background color, etc. etc. matters . . . Along with being able to set defaults
for font, font size, font color, etc . . . at least to me . . .
Extras? It would be great to be able to change the color of transitions between
segments to make them easier to see when the Waveform is displayed. Sync Break
indicator font size should be customizable (as should font size throughout the
interface in all windows, e.g. Effects Palette). When I make the font size
larger in the Composer Window in v6 it now gets truncated when in Effect Mode,
for example (effect duration & position in effect).

items back in if it's feasible. I can tell you that we spend a painstaking year
and a half working with customers to make sure we didn't go to far and kept as
much that we could keep in the app. What you see is so far away from the
original re-design based on what customers reported back during beta.
