If you already have a dongle then you will receive an activation ID now with an upgrade. You trade in that activation ID at www.avid.com/upgrade for the updater.avd file for your dongle.
If you dont have a dongle and would like to buy one, then you can do so by calling Avid or your reseller. The dongle takes the place of the activation scheme you are currently using.
