[Avid-L2] Problem - Avid License Server cannot initialize

 

Hi all,

I have a problem. I use the LogMeIn Hamachi Network Interface to tunnel a
VPN to enabled computers. If it is running it upsets the Avid License
Server which complains that it cannot initialize. This isn't a problem with
dongle activated software, only with software activated, as per my Symphony
installation.

The Hamachi interface appears under Device manager as a Network Interface.
If I disable it, I can launch the software, if it's enabled, the License
Server cannot initialize (I assume it's trying to use that interface to
communicate).

Any suggestions as to how to work around this - ie get the License Server to
'ignore' it?
