I just fought this issue on FCP 7. I found when you export in Pro-Rez turn
off (Gamma Correction). QT Ref's do not exhibit Gamma shifts but you can't
always work with a QT Ref. Not at work right now but I think it's in the QT
Codec window at-least that's where it is in Adobe Media Encoder. I have
bounced from DNx to Pro-Rez and vice versa without any Gamma bumps.
Apparently (Gamma Correction) if left on un-intelligently shifts between 2.2
and 1.8. It's some legacy leftover from the days of yore I don't fully
understand.
