Yes. I tried it on MC6.0 using a MacBookPro on Lion. It definitely worked. Have you tried doing it with a different user name... a new user? Maybe your user settings are corrupt.
Let me know if that solves your problem... I thought MC6 was only qualified on Lion... I'm not sure though...
