I don't see the problem for either one of the two.
Normally the standards conversion is done by speed up / down and add
pulldown.
But if they shoot commercials, how hard can it be to shoot everything twice
and be done with it?
It will require two edits anyways, since the speed difference is rather
big...
(We tend to use every frame that is paid for in airtime....)
