Re: [Avid-L2] AMA Canon 5D Footage Fps and raster size?

I've got a 5D and I didn't know that it could shoot SD at all, or 4X3. It can definitely shoot 29.97, as others have stated. True 30fps was the way the camera was originally released, but that's long since changed. It can also shoot 24fps.

The name of the file implies it's a 5D test. This seems to contradict the statement that the 5D can't do 29.97 but then I know QT 7 isn't always accurate in the fps parameter. The fact that Avid sees it as 29.97 and not 30 seems like a more reliable indication it is in fact 29.97. Can anyone confirm if the 5D can in fact shoot a 29.97 frame rate?
