[Avid-L2] Re: Multicam Capture

 

Also the tech specs at <http://www.blackmagic-design.com/products/hyperdeckshuttle/techspecs/> say that they support RP188 - which includes timecode in the SDI stream.

I can't believe that they would design a VTR replacement that didn't take TC into account. But I can believe that they won't take in LTC... in much the same way they might only take audio via SDI.

The competitors (nano / Aja / SD?) have features that will start and stop record based on incrementing timecode too.
