So, I see that in Version 6 the method for changing the background color of a Bin has changed. I'm cool with that. But I really never use custom Bin backgrounds. (Yes, I RTFM.)
What I DO like to use is a custom PROJECT WINDOW color background. Often, in the rush and chaotic mess of bins on the desktop, the difference between a Bin and the Project window is hard to see. In order to find the Project window easier, I like to give it a subtle color difference so that it's easy to distinguish it from the surrounding bins. (I know that I can do command-9, command-apostrophe to call up and reposition my project window. And if YOU didn't know that, well, happy tip!)
Does anyone know how you change the background color of the Project Window? This USED to be possible in all previous versions of MC. I tried selecting the Project window and going to the Edit menu, but there's no "background color" choice, like with a Bin. I also tried a contextual click on the Project window with no luck.
I don't care that Avid changed how to access the feature differently. I can adapt. But I want the functionality to change the color of a Project window just like a bin, which they seem to have lost with the change in behavior. This used to be a USER setting, I think, so that all of my future Project Windows in new projects were colored the same way.
