[Avid-L2] Artful way to combine Pluraleyes workflow with grouping?

My project includes interviews shot 1080p 23.976 with two cameras, XDCam and a Canon 7D.

I used Pluraleyes to sync up the clips, but now I have sequences where I'd really rather have grouped clips, as I would like to use ScriptSync to work my way through the interviews.

In my research I found a fairly arduous way to do this (posted by Tim Leavitt on his blog http://viewfromthecuttingroomfloor.wordpress.com) by adding edits and manually creating a whole slew of subclips, and finally pulling it all together using Multigroup.

Does anyone know of an easier way to convert a sequence into a grouped clip? I'm on MC6 on a MacPro.

Mike
