And there are hardware meters, but also software (i have PPmulator as plugin
in Avid). And there is even free software that (batch) sets the correct
level.
Very easy, you just make a nice mix, put the mixdown trough the tool and
you're done.
(Trouble is with the new regulations, if you have hardware meters you need
to play the entire show before you get a reading. So a software tool that
analyzes and shifts the entire mix accordingly is very nice.) Check
SourceForge for R128gain (windows only, but a very simple small PC is
enough)
