If you weresome savy GPU coders to implement the scaling algorithms with CUDA/OpenCL/etc so they could be executed in realtime by a good GPU, you could sell the whole thing in a small 2U computer with a BMD card for SDI in and out.
Similar to the ultrascope idea.
Once you implemented it on GPU I'm sure it would be plenty useful in all sorts of things for blackmagic aside from a stand alone product… Integration with Resolve, Revival, "Media Express", etc etc.
Just at thought.
