Michael, the gang buttons have always been placed beneath the monitors, and have always been on top of the monitors too, so that the buttons underneath were available for remapping to commands of Your choice, but most of all pulling the gang buttons off the top corners of the Composer window breaks yet another "muscle memory command" used by old time Avid editors.
