Interesting backstory.
So I'm guessiing the value proposition for acquiring them would either require a licensing deal with Qualcomm -- or repurposing Teranex's IP with new silicon.
Both of those options sound expensive. Hard to imagine how you make that back -- unless your existing portfolio of products each corner their respective markets because they have a "Teranex Inside " label on the box.
