[Avid-L2] QuickTime X and Reference movies

 

Hello all,

when I export a reference movie and try to play it back with QuickTime Player X (not version 7.6.x) then I don't get any image playing back. The video shows as solid black.

This is on a box with no Composer installed, on Lion. The Avid Codec version installed is 2.3.4.

Can this be helped somehow? Using QuickTime player version 7.6 is not an option, unfortunately.
