[Avid-L2] Avid Media on external drive not opening in MC

 

we received an external drive from a client and there are multiple bins & XML files on it, but I do not believe that there is a true Avid project file on the disk. It almost looks like someone was archiving bins & their corresponding media to this drive.
When opening the bins, on MC 5.5 on a MacBook Pro, the bins open, all the metadata seems to be connecting yet the media is still appearing as offline.
I even tried creating a new project, on the external drive, and opening the bins that way, but still media is offline.

Any thoughts or suggestions ?
