ProTools and Avid fight? Go figure!
I kind of got that you were being sarcastic, but it occurred to me that if some people dual boot there must be a reason for it. My setup is pretty humble, and I can't imagine there are huge issues there.

Media composer all off the same partition without trouble. I have more trouble
installing protools and avid on the same machine!
Still, not a recommended practice. I keep two boot drives because one is 10.6.7
and one is 7.1 (or 7.2- cant remember)
