In the past, Boris stuff has NOT been forward compatible, but I had some BCC 6 stuff open right up in BCC 8.
That's not official - just one the experience with a couple effects.
MC sequences go back and forth between 5.5.3 and 6.0 without incident- but plug-ins are usually the glitch. I HAVE NOT tried going from BCC 8 to BCC 6, but I'm guessing it won't work. HOWEVER, as always, be sure to REBUILD your user settings, not import them, when you go to 6.0
I'm very anxious to see how efficient the plug-ins are in 64 bit- I have no comment on that yet as I have tried enough to find out.
