Hey Lou,

Just last week I was capturing some archival DVCAM from a DSR-11. Went
from 4-pin FireWire on the DSR-11 though a 4pin-9pin FireWire 400
cable, to a FireWire 400-800 adapter plug and into the FireWire 800
port on my MacBook Pro. Worked well enough, had as much deck control
as I've had with any FireWire deck. MC 5.5.3

YMMV, but it'll probably work...
