[Avid-L2] Re: Error # - 5000 while verifying your authorization

I just ran into this issue on my older iMac. I followed the instructions and moved all the digidesign plugins beginning with "AIR" and the problem went away. Just curious what am I losing by removing these plugins? I put them in an already existing folder in the same sub folder as the digidesign plugin are in called unused plugins. There were already 4 plugins in the unused plug ins folder. I don't do much audio work and rarely get into audio suite but I would expect some of the removed plugins would no longer be available in audio suite or are these plugins for the timeline audio effects that have been added in the track panel. Hard to know what's been lost if I don't know where they were. The avid link says to remove them all or should I bother to add them back one at a time to see which one is causing the issue as suggested in this thread?
