At the London Users Group meeting last night (thanks Pat) had a nice few hours looking at an RC version of V6 and gotta say i was really impressed - especially with regard to the S3D toolset that Avid have implemented - it seems to be getting very sophisticated now. You can save bin layouts now which is awesome for the anal retentive in me who wants all his bins to appear in an exact spot and tabbed bins is pretty cool too. My only problem with this was that when you have lots of bins open the tabs just keep getting smaller and smaller until you can't see what they are any more - would be nice if once you reached a certain amount that you were presented with a drop down list a la superbin or something or maybe a second row of tabs...
The new interface is lovely too, nice and clean but still clearly an Avid, I'm going to be really looking forward to working with this version i think, well done Avid!
