Been fielding a lot of emails asking when we will go live today. I posted a long winded note to community that addresses most questions being asked on the launch:

Good idea to look at it as it outlines the new Unified Licensing - activation ID scheme you need to be aware of.
Expected Launch Times (EOD = no later than 5:00 PM ET)
* The Download Center will be available by EOD
* The Avid Store will be ready to take orders for new MC units and MC and Symphony upgrades by EOD. Vantage the new support offering will go live earlier - www.avid.com/us/support/plans/avid-vantage
* The www.avid.com/protect site will be available by EOD for those that bought AND registered a new 5.5/9.5 or upgrade to 5.5/9.5 between 10/15/11 and 11/14/11 and are eligible for MC 6, Symphony 6 or NewsCutter 10 at no charge.
* The http://www.avid.com/us/support/upgrade-academic-free site will be ready by end of day for any student who bought a MC 3.5 or higher and registered it on or after March 1, 2009. Reminder that Academic Institution copies do NOT qualify.
If we can get the uploads doen earlier we will but the target is EOD.
