[Avid-L2] BMD Resolve on Avid DX Hardware

 

Sadly, it is now obvious that Avid has no intent on incorporating professional CC tools in MC. Even when the CC module is upgraded -- the absence of secondaries is a show-stopper.

So I'm steering towards Resolve -- but wondering if Mojo DX or Nitris DX can be used to feed HD-SDI to a calibrated display.

Obviously, if you're using a 3rd party card with MC -- you can do this -- but what if you're using DC hardware?

Does anyone know if this new "Avid Open I/O" initiative is planned to work in reverse -- allowing 3rd party programs to use Avid hardware?
