Greg,
Workflow is very simple.
Create an ALE from your source clips, and feed that as input to LTC
generator, and the app will output BWF files containing LTC.
With those you can make synced clips. Place them on a timeline, and play
out.
If you set your avid in Direct out, you can map / patch your original sound
channels to the deck, and the track containing the LTC to the timecode input
of the recording deck.
(keep in mind that LTC timecode is a normal sound signal)
I'm not sure what the demo limitations are, but i'm pretty sure i've made it
in a way you can test the entire shebang!

The job is done, but id still like a solution to the problem. Not quite
sure how we'd use this in Media Composer- and the xdcam opens directly in
MC- there's no qt involved (this is not EX.)
