I went for this crossgrade promotion right after you posted it.
That was close to 3 weeks ago.
And apparently, it has yet to ship.
After a few frustrating go-rounds with Avid's industry leading website
(just in terms of user unfriendliness) It seems that maybe this will ship
on October 26th.
Just so I'm clear: it takes Avid close to a month to ship 1 copy of their flagship product?
Now, I've got a new project starting this week and was hoping to cut on MC 5.5.
I basically have no choice but to cut it on FCP instead.
So I'm just wondering - did anyone else receive a copy of the crossgrade?
And why does Avid make it so hard to buy and use their product? I thought the whole point of this crossgrade was to capitalize on the disappointment of FCPX. Talk about mission not accomplished.
