Decoding a DCP is often a difficult task for a many reasons. Principally
because there are very few DCP viewer apps. Why? because DCPs use
special JPEG 2000 files encoded in XYZ colour space. Those apps that do
exist, like Easy DCP, cost lots of money. Then you need a screen capture
software to record the file. Your best bet is to ask on the opendcp
forum. They are doing amazing work on an open source DCP converter.
