Re: [Avid-L2] Re: SAS Link issues to Mojo DX

John, the only two things that have changed since we had this issue were the
way we fire up the system, the way I explained, and that we no longer have
an editor here, working in this suite, who routinely crashed the system due
to the fact he'd have 5 programs running with Avid up and would be streaming
a Man U football game all at the same time. Perhaps it's the fact that the
system isn't being constantly blow up anymore and the constant crashes were
causing the Mojo DX to get cranky. I don't know. I agree that it doesn't
make sense. When we'd have this issue though after you started up we
wouldn't see the Avid/Mojo kick over from SD to HD until we unplugged
everything, plugged it all back in and turned all external items on after
Avid was up. We'd even try turning the Mojo DX off just to do a restart on
that but that causes a kernal panic on our system. Our scope and monitors
are on 75's so I don't know. Not sure I'd like to recreate the issue just to
test my theories because I'd be the one who'd have to fix it, or wait four
days for our grumpy Avid guy to come by and fix it. Perhaps it is the Avid
Gods who have been keeping the system up and running, I don't know.

Thanks
Tony
