specific media recently and placed an "X" in front of a numbered folder in
the hopes that Avid would NOT read the folder. Well to my surprise Avid
still saw the media. Keep in mind I did this AFTER the Avid had scanned and
built MSMs. I wanted to test this again so right now I have a numbered
folder that I placed the name of the show after the numbers and everything
is still there. It plays, takes effects, I can extend and move clips around
with no issues. I'll play with it more later but if someone is extremely
organized and knows what they're doing they may be able to label a folder
with letters after having the folder scanned by Avid.
