RE: [Avid-L2] PC to MAC media files issue...

Use VLC player to verify that the MXFs do actually have video and play outside of Avid. Can you import one of the files through the import dialog within avid? Does that yield a working media file? What codec are the MXF files wrapping? DNxHD? XDCAM? etc, do you have the right codecs installed on the new system?

If 'reveal file' is only showing 2 MXF files, they are probably the left

and right channels of your stereo audio, which fits with not seeing any

picture.
