Are you saying that having an external scope connected to the mojo HDSDI out will effect the link between the Avid computer and the mojo hardware connect by SAS? Having the scope turned on or off doesn't have any relationship to the SAS connection. What if you put a 75 ohm terminator on the mojo HDSDI out would the mojo not be recognized? I find this very hard to believe but I won't doubt your experience with it. Could there be any ground loop type issues in your system? It really sounds like it's an intermittent issue and having the peripheral gear on or off should have no bearing on this. Can you reliably duplicate the behavior 10 out of 10 times?
