[Avid-L2] Panny BTLH 2600 Monitor Color Temp setting D65?

I'm working with a rental Panny BTLH 2600 monitor today.  My gut and some googling tells
me the color temp setting should be D65 for 6500K but it looks red
yellow with 40% grey.  9300K looks like a truer grey to my eye but I've
always back light a monitor with 5.5 to 6.5K light source.  D65 is
normal right?  Wikipedia lists 9300K as CRT color temp but also lists
ATSC spec of D65.  I'm going to go with D65 for now.  Can someone remind me
what I should be setting the Panny to?  I'm pulling doubles these days so I don't trust my tired eyes.  TIA
