Not unique, but implemented rather well.

They could, as long as someone else would pull off the text recognition for them.
Script based editing is the Core feature, and that is not owned by Nexidia, but by Avid. So while Avid _could_ pull off ScriptSync without Nexidia, Nexidia (or anyone else for that matter) can't pull off script-based editing without Avid.
Just a thought.
