RE: [Avid-L2] Re: Hopeful news for Symphony - now DS

The learning curve honestly isn't that steep. Okay, I was a lot younger
when I first started on DS but I was cutting within a day, doing effects
within 2 days and reasonably proficient within a month. Like any deep tool
though, you never stop learning, and 11 years on I still learn (or re-learn)
something most days.

Again, learning curve (though definately worth the effort).

amount of marketing into DS as it has into Symphony? Let's assume "total
conform" worked as advertised. Would it sell as many - or more - seats of DS
as Symphony? Would it make more or less money by doing that?
