I don't mean to be facetious, but I really feel that Symphony is a great film editing tool. Offline or online.
Source-based color correction is something I use all the time when doing corrections to certain takes or shots in order to match them into a scene (when offlining features). In this day and age, when screening cutting copies, these need to be in pretty good condition. Quite often, journalists will see my offline cut, with temp grades, and hear my temp mix. With production schedules getting tighter and tighter, that is not going away.
Biggest bummer is that Symphony won't run software-only, otherwise I would upgrade at least one of my two MC licenses to a Symphony as well.
