So we are getting ready to upgrade both our DS system (to 10.5 with AJA I/O and Z800). We are also upgrading our Symphony 4.0.5 to 5.5 and while we were going to swap our XW8400 into that room, we are now looking at getting a Z800 for that as well. The DS is much more specific in configuration so I will do that whole upgrade through our reseller. I'm wondering if there is anything special about the Z800 for the Symphony DX Nitris that I couldn't just try to find one on my own. These are the specs I was given:
HP Z800 Dual 2.66 6 Core 12GB 320GB FX4800 Windows 7 Professional 64
Obviously, I'd have to get the DX Nitris box through my reseller, but I'd like to save some money if possible and get the Z800 separately.

ps, I wont even start on the Assurance reinstatement fee for the "privilege" of being forced to purchase Assurance once again for the upgrade. Is it not enough to just pay for the Assurance.....OK I guess I did start.
