If so, and since the AV3 product is available as a "full license" and as
30/60/90 day rental, might that be something Avid is looking at? It's a
little unclear (mainly because I haven't read the fine print) as to
whether or not Avid would spank folks for yet another $495 at the next
major MC upgrade point.
We'll have a trial version, no plans for rental. No charge for future
Media Composer releases.

That's essentially it. PhraseFind is made by the exact same company that
makes "get."
I can't answer any of the license purchase questions, but PhraseFind is
itself licensed in some kind of collaboration with the "get" company,
Nexidia.
